Recipe idea: Beef Vindaloo
For 2 persons
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 medium onion, diced
70g - 1/4 jar Patak's Vindaloo curry paste
250g diced beef
200g fresh or chopped canned tomatoes
100 ml water
1 teaspoon fresh chopped coriander leaf (optional).
Preparation:
In a medium frying pan, fry the onions in oil until golden.
Stir in Patak's Vindaloo Curry Paste, add beef and fry until thick.
Add tomatoes and water, mix well and cover the pan. Simmer on a low flame for 40 minutes until the beef is cooked.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves (optional).
It is just as good with chicken, lamb, prawns or vegetables.
