TRS BLACK CARDAMOM LARGE, मोटी इलयाची

The capsules are used as a spice in a similar way as the capsules of green cardamom, but the taste differs considerably. Unlike green cardamom, black cardamom is rarely used in sweet dishes. It owes its tart earthy aroma, reminiscent of coniferous wood and camphor, and its smoky flavour to traditional drying over an open fire. The spice is mostly used in hearty meat dishes.
